Account Executive – Enterprise Software Sales

QuerySurge is a New York-based enterprise software solution that is implemented at Global 2000 firms. We are in the hottest areas in technology: Data, Business Intelligence/Analytics, DevOps, and Testing. We have over 170 corporate customers in more than 30 countries, along with a partner ecosystem boasting many of the most famous companies in the technology sector.

We’re looking for an outbound salesperson who is able to hit weekly call and appointment goals. The ideal candidate likes to build relationships, can prioritize, and has a drive to succeed. There is room for advancement for candidates who perform.

Our office is located in midtown Manhattan, so our business hours are Eastern time. Since the advent of Covid-19, all employees had been working remotely. Currently, some staff and engineers are coming into the office, but this is not a requirement of the Account Executive position – working remotely 100% of the time is an option.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue through new client acquisition and growing existing accounts
  • Identify new leads and prospect accounts
  • Manage prospect meetings, deliver product overview presentation along with tech team
  • Manage a pipeline of appointments while consistently looking for new opportunities
  • Maintain outbound activity to hit minimum KPIs and log all data in Salesforce
  • Engage and influence key stakeholders
  • Suggest recommendations based on clients’ needs at every stage of the sales process
  • Collaborate with account management and tech teams to ensure client success post-sale
  • Close deals

  • Ability to learn and adapt in the tech industry – specifically around Data & Analytics
  • Knowledge of the IT industry
  • Experience using Salesforce and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Preferred experience:

  • 3+ years of outbound software sales experience with a demonstrated history of meeting quota
  • Consistent track record of identifying prospects’ needs and tailoring solutions
